A Call for Healing
I was a leader in the military and a damn good one at that. I have experience keeping large groups of human bodies warm, fed, and alive. My leadership is deeper than logistical. I care for your physical body as much as I care for the soul dwelling inside of it - You. The success of my leadership is dependent on You becoming a leader yourself. My leadership is aimed at anyone committed to moving forward together, not leaving a single soul behind. People who recognize that none of Us are free unless We are all free. People who recognize that the manifestations of oppression that we regard as having "nothing to do with us" or no impact on our individual experience are simply progressively more distressed canaries in the coal mine signaling the fire that is on its way to Our front door.
When the human body sustains multiple illness and and injuries at once, its healing efforts are scattered and therefore slowed. As cells of the body, Our greatest contribution to Our collective health is a commitment to our individual healing. What We seek We shall find and when We heal, We redirect, transmute, and quicken the healing of Our body. We participate in the reassembly of the fragmented and estranged pieces of Us. The hand rejoins the wrist and the forearm so the elbow. The truth is as inescapable as identity as member of the body is from the pinky toe.
My leadership is no longer coaxing horses to water and teaching them how to drink. My leadership can be found on bent knee beside the spring, drinking.
As within, so without.
